John Vermeer is a graduate of Westminster Theological Seminary of California (1988).   He served churches in both Kansas and Iowa before accepting the call in 2002 to serve as pastor of Oak Glen.  In 1986 John married Margaret Minderhoud, and together they have been blessed with five children.
